A photographer born and raised in France, Marilou Daubé moved to New York in 2005 to work as an art director for Assouline Publishing.
Two years later, Marilou decided to refocus her career on photography. She refined her photographic style while assisting famous photographer Francois Halard, with whom she worked on various projects ranging from celebrity photo shoots for Vogue, to a Ralph Lauren campaign and photographs of some of the most beautiful houses around the world.
Marilou has now been an established, independent photographer for the past few years, and she has been a contributor to major magazines worldwide such as Vogue, Madame Figaro, CR Fashion Book, Harper's Bazaar, The New York Times, Milk, Lucky and 1stdibs.
Marilou keeps on developing her visual skills and creativity, as well as her photographic eye, by directing videos. She has shot photo and video campaigns for clients including Vogue, Levis, Nine West, Cointreau, Reed Krakoff, Nina Ricci, H&M, Maybelline, Samsung, Amazon, Comptoir des Cotonniers, Rick Owens, Ligne Roset, Pandora, Maxmara and LoveGold, Madewell / J.Crew...
